My gasket that sits between the primaries and the secondary pipe got brittle, and broke. Now it leaks. Bummer. It got pretty bad today, so I'm off to get it fixed.

How did you "Break" it and how are you gonna get a gasket fixed? Don't they use a metal gasket? Good luck on getting it fixed though.

it's not a metal gasket. But I can get a 3 hole 2.5 inch gasket anywhere, and I'll just replace it.

guess I better ask the exhaust shop about a metal 2.5 inch metal gasket when I call today to see how much a 2.5 donut is. I am not too thrilled about paying "God" (Dan P.) $25 for one. Let us know how the search for the gasket goes. Cya

I bought tonight, and installed a Heat Riser Gasket, which was the same shape and size as the other now brittle one, that was broken.
After warming up the car, it really stinks... maybe I have the wrong gasket... it's an exhaust gasket, but who knows.

My original gasket seems to be a metal of some sort. Anyways, I had the same problem as you mentioned, so I went ahead and replaced it with ultra seals. Don't bother with this, save your money and get what I ended up now with copper seals. The ultra seals are just two graphite impregnated paper layers with a metal matrix layer sandwiched in between. It only lasted a month.
The mr. gasket copper seal's (that I used to replace the kami's 2.5" id gasket)part # is 7176c gasket(I paid approx $18 at a domestic speed shop).
